Startup on Identity & Queer Support

Hello
Spectra of Voices exists to explore and challenge the systems that shape — and too often limit — the lives of people whose identities intersect across disability, neurodivergence, queerness, and care work. Here, history, science, policy, and lived experience converge into something sharper than a single story: a spectrum.
On Spectra of Voices, you might encounter a breakdown of how language in public policy frames disability as an individual failing, an exploration of queer representation in media, or a critical look at climate and economic justice through the lens of community resilience. Whatever the topic, I approach it with the same commitment: to trace the threads, reveal the patterns, and center those most impacted.
My Story
I’m a queer, disabled advocate and clinical psychologist‑in‑training, planning gender‑affirming transition in the future. My work is grounded in lived experience, community solidarity, and a broad, justice‑based understanding of trans identity — not narrow medical checklists. I wear many hats: scientist, caregiver, and relentless student of how systems operate. My lens is shaped by many layers: ADHD and controlled Type 2 Diabetes, a triple‑minority queer orientation (more in the Queer Liberation section), and a deep belief that justice and equity require nothing less than systemic transformation.
Though some might label my perspective “left leaning,” I hold no loyalty to any ideology that fails the people it claims to serve. My compass points toward collective care, intersectional analysis, and a readiness to question everything — even those I often agree with.
At the heart of this project is my triangle system — a simple but powerful way to navigate the ideas here. Each topic is tagged with a colored inverted triangle, a reclaimed historical symbol, representing domains such as Queer Liberation, Disability Justice, and Systems & Reform. These visual markers let you move through complex conversations without losing sight of how they connect. Multiple colors means the topic is intersectional.
If you’ve found your way here, you’re likely curious, questioning, or looking for a richer way to understand the world. I invite you to explore the spectrum with me — not to find a single truth, but to see how many voices and perspectives it takes to build one worth standing on. Fair warning: my education is a priority, so updates may be slower here than on platforms run full‑time. I wish I could devote all my hours to advocacy, but some of the work to change the system must, for now, be done within it.
